Diversity - one of our success factors

We provide an extensive range of materials for a wealth of applications that meet the highest requirements. Our strength lies in the wealth of products and services we provide which enables us to find the right solution for every challenge. This diversity encourages creativity and innovation and opens up numerous design options for you.

We are happy to advise you personally and provide you with more detailed information on your individual project.

Panel materials

Chipboard consists primarily of wood scraps and glue, which are bonded together under pressure and heat. This process results in a wood-based material that is light yet robust. It is mainly used in furniture manufacture.

Plywood is made up of several layers of veneer. These are thin sheets of wood which are glued together at an angle of 90°. Due to the cross-alignment of the fibres, the individual layers of wood prevent each other from moving. Plywood panels are lightweight. Plywood panels are mostly made from poplar and birch.

MDF stands for medium density fibreboard. This wood-based material consists mainly of wood fibres and glue. These raw materials are pressed under high pressure and heat to form a robust board with a smooth surface but no grain. Ultralight MDF is a special variant.

HDF - stands for high-density fibreboard. It is manufactured according to the same principle as MDF, but with higher pressure. HDF board is usually produced in thicknesses of up to approx. 5 mm.

All materials with a bulk density of less than 500 kg/m³ are considered lightweight board. There are a wide variety of designs:

  • Plywood panels made from various types of wood
  • Honeycomb panels
  • Foam core panels

Blockboard, also known as block plywood, consists of a centre layer of wooden rods sandwiched between to cover layers.

Composite panels consist of several different layers (e.g. wood-based materials, plastics and metals) whose individual advantages are combined in one panel.

Plastics are materials that consist mainly of macromolecules. The  macromolecules of a plastic material are polymers that are made up of repeating basic units. These can also be produced in panel form.

Special board optimised for the relevant area of application (e.g. sound-proofing or fire protection insulation or fire protection). These panels can also be decoratively coated.

We have already extensively tested and coated all of the aforementioned panels in series production. Please contact us if you would like to coat other panels. Together we will find your customised solution.

Coating materials

It consists of thin layers of paper that are impregnated with melamine and phenolic resins and pressed under pressure and high temperature. The surface layer can be printed as desired, which makes the foil extremely versatile in terms of design. The foils are extremely resistant to impact, heat, UV rays, scratching, organic solvents, water and acids. In contrast to HPL, CPL can be produced in rolls and is therefore very interesting in terms of cost for larger coating volumes.

HPL stands for High Pressure Laminate. The board is made up of several layers of paper soaked in synthetic resin and pressed together under pressure and heat. The process ensures excellent impact resistance and durability.

Finish foils are paper layers with a paint-coated surface that are dyed or printed. Mainly used for coating wood-based panels and usually supplied in rolls as decorative finish foils, they are produced using light-resistant printing ink and high-quality paint, resin and base paper.

Primer foils are special foils that are designed for subsequent painting of the coated material. They ensure an even and absorbent surface that is perfectly matched to the requirements of industrial painting.

Decorative and particularly resistant foils can also be produced from plastics (e.g. PVC, PET, PP, etc.) for use in coating.

Foils or thin sheets made of various metals can also be laminated onto a panel material under certain conditions.

Choosing the right coating material is crucial to the success of your coating project. Please contact us so that we can work together to develop the best customised solution for your requirements.
