Panel materials

Chipboard

Chipboard is a universal wood-based material for furniture components and shelves. Our CPL coating or roll laminates create stable and functional surfaces.

Plywood panels

Plywood panels consist of cross-glued veneer layers and are particularly light and stable. They are ideal for film-coated plywood and for use in caravan or furniture construction.

MDF board

MDF boards have a smooth surface and are particularly easy to coat. They are often used for board coatings for shelves and decorative roll laminates.

HDF board

HDF boards are highly compressed, robust and ideal for thin, coated furniture fronts. Their fine surface is ideal for precise board coating.

Lightweight board

Lightweight boards offer an optimal ratio of weight and stability. They are perfect for special caravan solutions or as prefabricated furniture parts.

Blockboard

Blockboards with their stable core layer of wooden strips offer the best conditions for durable prefabricated furniture parts. They are often used for load-bearing body parts.

Composite panels

Composite boards combine different materials such as wood, plastic or metal. They can be used flexibly and are ideal for individual panel coating in furniture construction.

Plastic panels

Plastic panels are moisture-resistant and easy to care for. Thanks to CPL coating or roll laminates, they have a resistant, decorative surface.

Insulation and fire protection board

These special panels offer protection against sound and fire – and can be decorated as coated plywood. They are part of our wide range of functional panel coatings.

Coating materials

CPL (Continuous Pressure Laminate)

It consists of thin layers of paper that are impregnated with melamine and phenolic resins and pressed under pressure and high temperature. The surface layer can be printed as desired, which makes the foil extremely versatile in terms of design. The foils are extremely resistant to impact, heat, UV rays, scratching, organic solvents, water and acids. In contrast to HPL, CPL can be produced in rolls and is therefore very interesting in terms of cost for larger coating volumes.

HPL (High Pressure Laminate)

HPL stands for High Pressure Laminate. The board is made up of several layers of paper soaked in synthetic resin and pressed together under pressure and heat. The process ensures excellent impact resistance and durability.

Finish foils

Finish foils are paper layers with a paint-coated surface that are dyed or printed. Mainly used for coating wood-based panels and usually supplied in rolls as decorative finish foils, they are produced using light-resistant printing ink and high-quality paint, resin and base paper.

Primer foil

Primer foils are special foils that are designed for subsequent painting of the coated material. They ensure an even and absorbent surface that is perfectly matched to the requirements of industrial painting.

Plastic foil

Decorative and particularly resistant foils can also be produced from plastics (e.g. PVC, PET, PP, etc.) for use in coating.

Metal foils

Foils or thin sheets made of various metals can also be laminated onto a panel material under certain conditions.
